Purpose Statement of our Futurities:
To encourage the breeding and showing of the miniature horse and registered shetland pony. The futurity is a means by which to reward the serious breeder for their knowledge in breeding. Also to allow miniature horse & shetland pony owners the opportunity to breed to other stallions whose breed fees would normally be out of reach. And to perpetuate a larger and broader gene pool of miniatures & shetlands in the area currently being bred.
Stallion Auction - (Miniature & Shetland) Held in the Early Spring Each year - a Mare Owner's Opportunity to Puchase Outstanding, Quality Breeds to Champion Stallions. Resulting "Get" are Eligible for Prize Monies in their Weanling Year.
Ultimate Futurity - Nominate Your Stallion and Foal - Show your foal at our August Show. First throught 5th place receive Cash Premiums! Entry Forms are sent with the August Show Premium.
Gelding Incentive - Register your Gelding before the club's current show season. The "A" and "B" High Point Gelding win Big Prize Monies accumulated throught the show year. Cash is presented in December.
